Private Group Tree Walks
Interested in learning more about the trees in your community and how you can help care for them with a group you're involved in? Invite CanopyBloomington to do a tree walk! Learn about the diversity in your community's trees, how to identify tree health issues, and ways you can cooperatively steward your community trees as a group. Neighborhood associations, HOA’s, and other community entities. themselves will be responsible for advertising the event to their respective communities (with materials provided by us).
If you’d like to plan a tree walk for a group, please contact us giving three weeks advance notice prior to scheduling. Tree walks require a prior site visit by our Forestry Director to plan the routes and tree talking-points. Email forester@canopybloomington.org with inquiries.
