​With tree species and size diversity in mind, Canopy should order a variety of species. While we have a strong interest in planting large canopy trees, planting partner sites do not always allow for large trees, thus ordering small and medium statured trees are important, too. Generally, an order should contain mostly large stature trees. A good rule of thumb is for 60% of the order to be large statured species, 15% to be medium stature species, and 25% small statured species. A suggested species list is below.
